To all members, it is with great sadness to share the news about the unfortunate passing of our friend and Hockey With Heart member Doug MacGregor.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hockey With Heart by going to our Donations Page

Doug was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed.

Hockey With Heart is the compassionate arm of the Unionville Men’s Hockey Club (UMHC) that is proactively engaged in making a difference in our community & beyond.  We are a local grassroots organization made up of UMHC players that is committed to supporting/giving back to the community and other causes.  HWH is a local organization that is administered by a committee that acts as a catalyst & enabler to bridging those in need with a helping hand from our community.

Through a committee made up of players and members of the community, we responsibility oversee and administer activities of kindness & goodwill to those in need.  From local Markham kids needing support to Make-A-Wish come true to providing a caring hand for the survivors of the Humboldt Broncos tragedy . . . Hockey With Heart has been there to provide assistance.   
On behalf of the entire UMHC membership, please extend our condolences to the family.
