Once again, Hockey with Heart was thrilled to participate in the Unionville Old Tyme Christmas parade. This parade, which dates back almost 40 years, is held on the first Friday of December. It showcases many community organizations and associations in the area of Unionville and Markham.

Hockey with Heart, in tandem with the Village Grocer, had the Village Grocer truck lit and with Holiday tunes playing for the parade. Volunteers walked with the truck and handed out candy canes to spectators.

We were thrilled to have several members of the Unionville Alliance Church join us for the parade! Some members of the Unionville Men’s Hockey Club and their families also came out to walk with us. It was a great evening walking and meeting other community members.
